I'm hoping to fly to Sweden ( possibly Norway aswell) at the start of July in a Eurostar.
I've planned so far for stops at Lydd ,Midden Zeeland , Bremerhaven , Hoganas.
We were thinking about a long flight through the centre of Sweden upto the Lapland airport ( basically to get above the arctic circle)..why ? ..because we're mad !
Having looked at Google earth Im beginning to wonder if the 'extra leg' is sensible as it looks like huge areas of forest with very few engine out options. Also its 600 miles or so...so a lot of time out of reach of rescue etc...etc...
You're a local and I was wondering if you've flown to the North of Sweden and also any other recommendations you may think I should know about.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.
We have clearance, Clarence. Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?
